
Industrial Mechanic
As an industrial mechanical specialising in precision equipment manufacture, you will produce components out of metal and plastic. You will primarily work manually or mechanically on part-finished products using conventional and modern high performance CNC machines. You will then assembly components - most of which you have produced yourself - into small and extremely precise functioning equipment and machines based on work plans and technical drawings. You then commission the finished equipment and test its functionality. Based the results you have documented in test logs, you then make any necessary improvements. You will also be responsible or maintenance and repair of tools and machines.

Machine and plant operator
As a machine and plant operator, you support our teams in the production area with your knowledge of machine and plant management. After completing the basic training in metal technology, you will prepare technical documents and drawings and operate the control and regulating equipment of various machines. You handle materials, auxiliary materials and operating supplies and are responsible for setting up and retooling as well as for maintenance and predictive inspection. They control the flow of materials and are responsible for testing during series production, which is an important part of our responsibility for quality. After completing the apprenticeship, further training to become an industrial foreman is possible.

Warehouse Logistics Specialist
As a warehouse logistics specialist, you will check, pick and ship goods and products of various types. You will also receive goods, check them and store them properly.
Warehouse logistics specialists put together deliveries, load and ship goods. As well as this, you will work on optimising the underlying processes in goods management and logistics.

Warehouse Specialist
As a warehouse specialist, you will receive goods, store them and use various tools to route them onwards. You will check order documents and inventories and learn how to carry out work orders in a way that is customer oriented. As well as preparing shipments, duties include proper storage, quality control and labelling of goods.

Work-study programme
In cooperation with DHBW Lörrach (Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University Lörrach) or the IU Freiburg, we offer a work-study programme in the mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, IT department, marketing management or media design. During the practical sections, you will spend time working in various specialist departments at HEINZMANN, where you will be involved in current projects. Individual responsibility and demanding duties make the work-study programme at HEINZMANN the first choice for anyone about to finish secondary school.

Internship
During your internship or semester with us, you will work on projects in the specialist department of your choice: manufacturing, development, or measurement or control technology. You will learn about the department-specific processes and support our engineers and technicians - including on-site visits to customers where necessary. Your internship will be individually designed according to your prior knowledge and needs. You can rely on the expert support and backing of the team from day one.

Final thesis
For your final thesis on your Bachelor or Masters course, you can choose from a range of challenging topics from the fields of mechanical, measurement and electrical engineering. The manager of the relevant specialist department and a personal mentor will support you on technical and practical issues during your time with us.
